LTC7851 : The inner loop current sharing of the LTC7851 / -1 equalizes the intensities between the phases when in parallel, which allows accurate current sharing between phases of more integrated circuits, both in control and state during a transient event. It runs on a VCC of 3V to 5.5V, is designed for step-down mode conversion from an input voltage of 3V to 27V, and generates one to four independent output voltages of 0, 6V to 5V. The architecture of control component voltage mode allows operation at selected fixed frequency in the range of 250kHz to 2.25MHz, or its synchronization to an external clock over the same range. Maximum efficiency can be achieved by measuring the voltage drop across the inductor (DCR) for detecting the output current, or by using a current sense resistor of low value.

The integrated differential amplifiers enable true differential remote measurement of all output voltages VOUT and ground, to obtain a high precision control.

The LTC7851 LTC7851-1 is similar to, but with a lower gain of the current measuring amplifier, which is suitable for power management applications using DrMOS with the possibility of measurement of internal current. Additional features, for each phase, include the management of the intensity, setting the current limit, a soft start or a programmable pressure monitoring, and a control signal established.
